I’ve been having so much of a good time dyeing yarn. I got about 100 skeins of fingering weight yarn last month. I have been using different methods and they all achieve different results.
And the last but not the least, this is my Equatorial yarn. I got inspired by the Selvedge magazine cover from the Summer of 2013 issue.
They are all listed now in my Etsy shop. I think I still have about 80 blank skeins that I need to go through. Fun!
Finally, I was able to upload some of my yarn on my Etsy store. The first one I called it “This pair of ol’ jeans”.
Each skein has about 420 yards and is superwash merino and bamboo fiber. I love this combination of fibers because the shimmer that the bamboo gives to the yarn is pretty. And is really soft…
Have you seen this picture of Frida Khalo before? I though that the colors would be perfect to recreate them in a skein of yarn. And of course I called it “Viva Frida”
And this is the what I was able to came out with:And the last skein for now is “Pumpkin Spice”…
Well, my intention is to post alpaca roving in the next couple of days. Stay tune…
