Road Trip – Day Two

Well, we didn’t make it to Zion today as we had planned, but we are pretty close to our destination. Tonight we are spending the night in a cold area called Caliente, but we are pretty cozy. Our meals were much better than last night and now Keith and I are swapping photos. We had a wonderful day. We stopped on the south side of Mono Lake in a place called South Tufa. The place looks like a lunar landscape. Impressive! We drove through the State of Nevada. I love the desert. Everything is big and majestic. Big and intense blue skies, unending landscapes, big, big boulders,  thousands of Joshua Tress that goes for miles and miles, the valleys make me feel small and insignificant. Did I say that I love the desert?

Well, I will leave it here for now. It is complicated trying to write a post on the Ipad and seriously, I’m starting to get jealous at Keith’s pictures…
