Fabric and Yarn Excluded in New CPSIA Requirements
I just got this newsletter about the new CPSIA regulations regarding items for children made with yarn and fabric. Apparently after a lot of testing on fiber and fabric they have came to the conclusion that most of the items made with these materials are not lead-bearing products. This will put a lot of small companies at ease. Needles to say that a lot of these mom and pop businesses have more moral ethics on their manufacturing processes and use of materials than those who manufactures overseas. Many of these small companies actually started building their business because their need to provide safer alternatives with toys, clothing for their own children. A big hurray!!!
